In Room 4 when you get 30 gotchas for making kind choices and keeping our treaty you get to choose from the 'Choosing Board' your reward. Leyton wanted to be a guest teacher. Here we are playing the game 'handball' which he taught the whole class how to play.
It was good to finish the last day of term doing something fun together.
This is a puzzle created in Room 10 in 2019 the first time the 'Room 4, 2020' class met together.
I like how each piece is unique and yet works together, just like our class. Next time we could try to incorporate pieces for new students who arrive in the new year.
Well done Room 1, for running a successful assembly after only 3 days at school. Your slideshow displayed lots of learning from Term 3. Next time we will aim to fix the glitches in the links to the waiata.
This week we enjoyed being the 'Community Kind' and supporting the Cancer Society. In our class we wrote poetry, drew pictures and made gold coin donations.
We don't like that cancer has effected so many people in New Zealand.
This is a photo of the whole class being the learning kind.
We are sketching a waka because we are learning about 'voyagers'.
We enjoyed shading and sketching.
Next time, we need to manage our time better so more get their sketches finished in the time given, we should try to use some smudging techniques and make our pictures bigger.
It was enjoyable and slightly stressful for Room 1 to be the community kind and host the 'Team Pango Assembly'.
This was the slide show that was created for it.
Next time we could include an extra slide for the 'Character Parade' as part of 'Book Week', which is happening next week.
But we do like how almost every member of our class has a photo on the slide.
