Bees Wax Wraps

Thanks Sue & Haley for teaching us about bees, honey and how to make bees wax wraps. It was interesting, tasty and fun to do.

There are three different size bees , that each have a special job to do.

Where pollen comes from can change the taste of the honey.

Natural oil, natural resin & bees wax hot dipping mix.

On the airier it goes, then ready to wrap your lunch.

Creating Wearable Art

Keeping the treaty was important!

Imagination was necessary in the beginning.

It took co-operation to problem solve during construction.

Working with primary colours.

Using recycled materials from home.

Spinners - required special skills!

First we needed to read the instructions.

Then we had to measure carefully.

Geometry, measurement, reading and recycling...
It took a lot of learning to create our spinners today.

Next came the creating.

Testing the first prototype.
